more central america!

The last few weeks have been really fun! I have managed to luck into a couple of big south swells, which is normally unheard of as it’s meant to be the off season!!!
I have been really lucky with my boards as well. Still having then all in one piece, no snappers! I just a quick big up to everyone at Quiver Surfboards, For putting in all the time and effort to produce such high quality boards.
I have been experimenting with my Go Pro HD camera recently. I have mounted it to the tail of my surf board, I have found it works best on my arm on a bicep strap.
Here is a short clip more to come in a few weeks?
                                                                    (Arm cam view)

Its been hard surfing with it on my arm, It just a unnatural movement when you stop paddling turn on the camera then have to start all over again and some one has probably snaked you in the time you have done it.
But its been fun just takes a little bit of getting used to? Its like being on your own personal shoot, I only seem to take off on the ones I know are going to barrel!
(This the wave from the land)
There will be more to come so please follow me?

Central America!

The start of a new blog page, I already have a blog that is through Quiver surfboards & Seabase which will be linked into this blog. I can just keep it up to date easier this way. So please become a follower, It won’t disappoint!!

I have been in Central America for a month now and have been scoring some really sick waves! Mostly just been surfing beach breaks and the odd river mouth or too!
This is the first trip where I have not taken a longboard away with me. I just wanted to get away & surf some hollow beach breaks? Well I can tell you that in the last month, I have defiantly done just that.

The Quiver boards that I got just before I left are going so sick, my favourite is the shortest board I have ever ridden, a 5’8 epoxy hart attack quad its flying.                                                                                                        The other boards I have taken away are 5’11 heart attack 5 fin setup. 6’0 dirty truck & a 6’0 barrel board, with heavy epoxy glass job.
I have fixed a Go Pro HD camera to the back off my board so a short film about my trip will be on this page soon.
I have a month left out here, so watch this space for more go pro fottage, photos and videos
